Subsidies for SafeLives training
As a charity we know how difficult it can be finding budget for training. Which is why we - and our valued supporters - have been working hard to establish funding relationships that can help those of you working for smaller organisations continue your professional development.
It's as a result of these efforts we are thrilled to annouce a range of reduced fee places for learners wishing to train with us this autumn.
- Young People’s Practitioner - Expert level - 8 places at just £50 Usual price of £550
These super reduced prices are all down to the time, effort and dedication of two very inspirational SafeLives supporters, Skye Binning and Cosmo Barran. Read Skye Binning's Boxing Challenge to find out how she did it.
- Young People’s Practitioner - Expert level - 7 places at just £300 Usual price of £550*
This funding comes as a result of efforts to help smaller services find budget for training.
- Outreach workers - Foundation level - 15 places at £1000 Usual price of £1950*
- Outreach workers - Expert level - 15 places at £300 Usual price of £550*
*These bursaries have been made possible thanks to generous donations from the Queen Anne’s Gate Foundation
As a way of thanking Skye and Cosmo we are asking that learners who take up a reduced fee place submit a short video describing what they have learned which we will share on the SafeLives website and our social media.
These prices are all for registered charities with an annual income of less than £1m. There are a limited number of reduced fee spaces and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Learners who are allocated a reduced fee place MUST complete the course. If the applicant doesn't complete, the full fee will need to be charged.
