Resources for other professionals

If, as part of your job, you come into contact with victims of domestic abuse – or you think you may do – then we can show you the best ways to respond.

Our guidance and information will be useful for GPs, other doctors and health professionals such as nurses and public health workers. It will be also useful for council employees including housing and homelessness workers, social workers and children’s services staff, and for other frontline professionals in the voluntary and statutory sectors.

Employers and human resources (HR) professionals who want to know how to support victims of domestic violence in the workplace will also find useful information here. We’ve also got information for you to share with your employees about the support available to them if they’re experiencing domestic violence.
